Horizontal / Vertical Borer

Location: Middlesbrough

Salary: TBC

Working within the modern machine shop, the role of Horiztonal / Vertical Borer will involve working on a bespoke CNC Machine with Fanuc & Num controls.

Working for a well established and stable Engineering company, the role of Borer is offered on a permanent basis.

THE ROLE

The position of Borer will consist of the following tasks and duties:

- Working on a very large, bespoke boring machine (2 machinists to operate per shift)
- Operating both Horiztonal and Vertical borer operations
- Working to high standards on pieces of (up to 10 tonnes)
- Taking care to ensure quality is retained

THE CANDIDATE

In order to be considered for the position of Horizontal / Vertical Borer, you will require the following skills and abilities:

- Experience within a Heavy Engineering environment
- Experience working on a variety of machine tools
- Proactive attitude to modern manufacturing techniques
- Flexibility and able to work shifts as required
- Strong CNC Machnist background (CNC Setter, CNC Operator)
