Winner of the North East Business Awards - Teesside
Proud winners of the Manufacturing Award at the 2019 North East Business Awards – Teesside, Dormor Machine are through to the region’s Grand Finals held at Hardwick Hall Hotel.

Dormor Machine & Engineering Ltd has been named as one of the 50 fastest growing companies across the North East.
The company is listed in the Ward Hadaway North East Fastest 50 for 2016, a run-down of the fastest growing businesses in the region put together by UK Top 100 law firm Ward Hadaway.
New office and welfare extensions completed
Our new office and welfare extensions are now complete together with total office and canteen refurbishment.
We now have a new reception, additional offices, meeting room, large canteen and changing area together with an additional car park to the rear of the property.
Apprentices HNC higher apprenticeship
Congratulations to our apprentices of the year, David & Keiron. We wish them luck as they progress onto the Higher HNC Apprenticeship qualification through Middlesbrough College and NVQ Level 4 here with us at Dormor Machine & Engineering.

Dormor Machine & Engineering Company Ltd of Middlesbrough, is among the winners in the RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2015.
The Order of Distinction (16 consecutive Golds) award in the prestigious annual scheme run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) was presented during a ceremony at the Glasgow Hilton Hotel on September 17.
Dormor Machine invests in £500,000 CNC machine for the future
We have recently been awarded a £70,000 grant, funded from the Regional Growth Fund’s Let’s Grow programme, which has enabled us to purchase a new CNC Machine (Kitamura MyCentre) worth £500,000.
The high-speed, high precision package, with FANUC 16i control and manual guide i, includes features such as AI Nano Control (180-block look ahead), HPCC by RISC Control, NURBS interpolation and a 128MB Data Server.
