This policy applies between Dormor Machine & Engineering Company Ltd and you. The policy applies to our use of, and all data, collected by us when you interact with us.
Your data and our promise;

Dormor Machine & Engineering Company Ltd, which we’ll refer to as ‘the Company’ in this document, provide sub-contract precision engineering solutions, details of which can be found on our website: www.dormormachine.co.uk

- When you use our car parks which have a CCTV system operated for the security of both visitors and employees. This system may record your image during your visit.

- Name & job title, business email & telephone number, contact names within your business (purchasing department, accounts, credit control), business billing/delivery address, company registration number, VAT registration number, Trading business name.
- Details of your interactions with us through our business telephone, at the business premises, email & post.

- We operate a CCTV recording system at our premises - your image may be recorded on CCTV when you visit.
- Your car number plate may be recorded for security reasons.
- Your social media username, if you interact with us through those channels, to help us to respond to your comments, questions or feedback.
- Financial information, for example trade references supplied by you or on public record at Companies House.
5. Why we would collect your personal data
As a business to business organisation, our use of your personal data is limited and used for internal processes such as;
- Quotations for outsourced processes where applicable
- Transmission by email, phone, post or in person relating to an order or enquiry placed with us.
- Transmission by email, phone, post or in person relating to products or services that may be of interest to you.
- Internal record keeping regarding your queries, credit requests and complaints, on-going business requirements
- Improvement of our products/services
- To protect our customers, premises, assets and visitors from crime, we operate CCTV systems on our site which record images for security. We manage our CCTV system in conjunction with Cleveland Security Ltd.
- To comply with our contractual or legal obligations to share data with law enforcement.
- Customer feedback requests may be sent by us to help us to improve customer service.
- To process your pre-order request for quotation or purchase order requests. Sometimes, we’ll need to share your details with a third party who is providing a service (such as delivery haulage companies or a sub-contract painting or heat treatment facility). We do so to provide a product or service to you. Without sharing your personal data, we’d be unable to fulfil your request. We will always abide by any confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement that we have entered into.
We use the personal information we collect to: provide & improve our services, to provide you with a personalised service from the Company and to detect fraudulent or illegal activities.

- CCTV monitoring for our site security

- Operational companies such as haulage companies
